From golfing at three to an LPGA professional
With a father who is a scratch golfer and a mother who also is a great golfer in her own right, I had no choice but to become a good golfer if I wanted to keep up. My father made me my own golf clubs at age three.
As a member of the high school golf team I was teased by the boys on the single sex golf team until I blew their socks off with my first drive. I received a full ride scholarship to Illinois State University as a member of the girls golf team.
I am a firm believer that everyone is unique – not everyone has the same body, swing, mental approach, or golf game. I will work with who you are and how your body moves to achieve your goals as a golfer. My goal as an instructor is to exceed my student’s expectations with the progress they make by achieving both short and long term goals that we set together. My teaching philosophy is very student-centered by simplifying the golf swing and encompassing both the physical and mental aspects of the game, all while making the game of golf fun.
